Another reason to distrust our computer screens

Via Guardian technology, this is a pretty cool demonstration of how image manipulation will merge into the general user interface (GUI) of computers and gadgets in the near future. What is telling about the particular algorithm above is how ubiquitous it probably would be if implemented — as with any good illusion, we probably wouldn’t notice that we were being fooled to start with.
